 O jogo terá suporte para multiplayer online, e os jogadores poderão trabalhar em conjunto, usando técnicas como a Fusão e recuperar vida usando o Revive Soul.

 O jogo também contará com a nova transformação, Super Sayan God, que foi apresentada no filme deste ano, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. Tanto o preço do jogo quanto sua data de lançamento ainda não foram revelados.

 Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, vai ser lançado em disco físico na Europa e no Japão, mas na America do Norte, America latina e Brasil, o game será comercializado online, pela PSN e Live.
