O game já está disponível para download na Xbox Live Arcade, no PlayStation Network e no Steam. Inspirado na atual série animada da Nickelodeon, Out of the Shadows inclui um modo cooperativo para quatro jogadores simultâneos.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows está em desenvolvimento pelo estúdio Fly Studio, responsável por Thor: God of Thunder, Ghostbusters: The Video Gamee Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. O lançamento é da Ubisoft.
